every morning i pass

a curved brick wall



the grout

…………shows the route

……..of water trickles

….in mortar channels



……….in tiny piles

……..it lies at the base

…for all who wish to see



traffic…………..slows here



……i am not

…the only one

..rubbernecking

this accident of

…architecture



…grooves are fine



……piles distract



………brick walls

…………should not

……………curve
