Animal PACS





I wonder, whether it would be

Correct, I mean politically,



If animals could cast a vote,

When they did, if we could note



The party that they represent

To learn their philosophic bent



And thus alerted to their stance

I’ve several thoughts I could advance



Perhaps we’d market “liberal beef”

And give the PETA people grief



It’s somehow clear to me, a cow

Would lean this way, I’ll tell you how



It stands on land it doesn’t own

Eats other’s food, and once it’s grown



For those who’ve sacrificed for it

All it gives is Grade A bull chips



Although at slaughter time might pour

Some strong support for dear Al Gore



But then, I bet, the hawk’s support

Would lean conservative, of course



It’s right somehow a bird of prey

Would lean and vote strongly this way



Soaring high above the crowds

It screams its shrill message out loud



Espousing high, lofty morals that

Are set aside while it dines on rat



Then after final message push

It roosts at night within George Bush



So lets get out the vote in herds

Flock to the polls, you dirty birds



The choice is clear, for all you know

For scavengers, there’s still Ross Perot.
