I stare into a cold, white void
And feel it's pull on me
From dark nothing where now I lie
To nothing light in the empty sky
Or bare bulb bright with sinking feeling
Alone awake staring at the ceiling
Looking through the void deep
Seeing nothing, not even sleep
reminds me of the buddhist/taoist image of emptiness. another good poem. eric
