Cold White Void

I stare into a cold, white void

And feel it's pull on me

From dark nothing where now I lie

To nothing light in the empty sky

Or bare bulb bright with sinking feeling

Alone awake staring at the ceiling

Looking through the void deep

Seeing nothing, not even sleep
