Romance As I melt in the blistering coals of your true inner beauty, my heart fades from warm to hot,
You doubt the shades of your true perfection, color you shall want, color you need not,
But oh, how I dread the thought of the never ending joy you bring being devoured alive by the last pieces of sanity,
And your evercolorful chroma being forever lost in the helpless hope of humanity.
After all that built up in my brain and the pain that seeped through the weak cracks,
Corrupted my rhythm of life, and I wished I could just bring the beat back,
But then I found my true rhythm, and I realized that I didn't even need that,
Because this new rhythm of life filled all the empty gaps, and my old rhythm could never defeat that.
The rhythm is steady, and It plays the song of a thousand harmonies,
It protects me when I'm afraid, and gives me the shield of a thousand armories,
It sings to me when I'm scared, just to let me know that someone is there,
And that I'll never be alone again, through the rest of my life within, and it's not going anywhere.
My rhythm has a gentle flow, like a snowstorm in a autumn snow, but when does that autumn fall?
It lies in a place deep inside, that once had courage but went back to hide, but after it found its true destiny, it began to confide, and eventually collide,
With itself, because it thought that it was just another dusty record on the shelf,
So why can't it accept that it was truly rebuilt back to health?
Because it was down doesn't mean it was on the ground,
It was just another lost soul in a dark world just waiting to be found,
Now it's sky high, above the high tides, with its eyes on the prize; forever bound,
And to my utmost surprise, after all the lies, my true tale of truth is finally being unwound.
I thank God for this glorious day,
Because with you it's perfect in every way,
And it comforts me to know that there will never be any more sorrow,
Because God's gifts of today always overflow into tomorrow.
