Shine bright, my little candle light,

Guide me, as you show me the way, from the highest of heights to the darkest of nights, 

Glow, as you continue your everlasting presence in my life, only the turn all of the black to white,

And stay by my side, and never leave me; let your warmth cure my fright.

Your glow never fades, goes down, or darkens,

As I stare into the heart of your never-ending flame, I think about all that I've done to make you go out, and my perspective sharpens,

Because I've done so much to make you dull, and fade,

Yet the only darkness in my life is my simple shadow, that reflects in the warm summer shade.

THe power of a simple smile, can begin a chilly winter breeze, and as the cold wind continues to blow, 

My little candle light never even begins to leave, it just continues its eternal glow,

And as much as the wind whistles and attacks my little candle light, I just want the world to know, 

That no matter how much the world screams and shouts, my little candle light will never go out.
