From the moment our eyes first met, 

To the late talks at night that always run late, 

You make me feel so special, like I'm stuck in a dream, flying through the never ending sky, 

Past the clouds, the sun, and the stars, only to find the precious gift that awaits.

When I close my eyes, all I see is your face,

and I smile more and continue my race through space,

I'm going as fast as I can; time doesn't matter anymore,

All I'm focused on is keeping a steady pace.

You glance at me, and I smile back, 

You are the finish line, and my heart is the racetrack,

You're the only thing on my mind, nothing else, 

I don't even think to stop, slow down or turn back.

I reach my destination, and you reach out and take my hand, 

We fly away, together forever in a far away land,

Nothing to ever stop us, or get in our way, 

Now, this is my idea of a perfect day.
