A Blind Eye

In honesty I’m only half real,
Because the other half doesn’t feel.
It can hear you, see you and touch you,
But it can’t get a real view.

It knows you exist,
And it knows your name.
It’s filled with guilt,
And desperate shame.

It’s the dream you can’t remember,
Your very first November.
It’s the joke you didn’t understand,
And your least favourite band.

You can hear it in your dreams,
And see the stitched seams.
But I warn you that it’s not real,
It’s nothing your hands could feel.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Written in 20 minutes, bet it feels like it!

Haven't been on in a while and thought I'd write something fresh, it may not be award winning but it's definitely capturing my mood right now!

Anyway hope you enjoy and to those who I've encountered before, hope you're doing well and writing well! =D

Not at all! I put a religious spin on it for me and it was very deep! A very good thought provoking write with good structure! Cheers SS
