I hear you breathing
From down the hall
And realize I will never again
Breathe for another

A lesson learned
through a broken heart
Healed only by the breath
That is God's and my own

Still I will go out of my way
To make you smile
For it is in my heart
To give of myself

I have plenty to give
My well will not run dry
Ever supplied by the love
