As you may already know, what I would most like to do

Is crawl into a cave until the holidays are through

But I would probably get bored by myself and all alone

So I'll invite my love to join me in the cave that we'll call home



Forget about the presents and all the colored lights

Though they might be nice to find our way through the cave at night

Together we'll build a fire to keep us safe and warm

And we'll spend Christmas Eve the way we should, in each other's arms
