Lesson 14 - O, P

As I was going out one day

My head fell off and rolled away

While I chased it down the street

I heard someone mention paleontology

It rolled near someone with much panache

But he tripped on my head and fell on his a**

I bought him some ice to palliate the pain

But his parochial mind was mad just the same

As I continued to chase my head

The shock was pandemic, or much widespread

One little boy gave me a panegyric

Others laughed so hard, they needed the Heimlic

As my head rolled down the street

I passed a sign-painter with bad orthography

When he saw the orifice my head fell in

He suddenly laughed with paroxysm

Althought I thought it was clearly patent

That my head falling off was an accident

A businessman glaced at my head pendantically

As if what had happened was a parody

But he can take his pecuniary world

Like he took my head and off he hurled

That was a peccadillo thought my jarred brain

Then I had a paradigm of the worst headache pain

When I finally caught my head

About a mile and a half away

I thought about everything

I had rolled passed that day

It's amazing the reactions

A rolling head can cause

I'm just so glad

That mine gathered no moss
