The pale moon,
A sinful light,
cast in pale shades of grey.
hanging in a cool winter sky,
surrounded by a shroud
of black and blue night
crash,
and shatter,
silently
in to the milky way.
until the moons surrender,
to the breaking of dawn's new day.
