fear never ceases to grow in the darkness of the night
listless, as the hours pass my mind is frail with fear
help me overcome this trepidation, before i fall into brokenness
how i love thee with all my heart, you alone are my strength
as i lay in the bed pondering eternity, in all of its complexities
you cannot help me stray into the world, my struggle at hand
the treats of the world kill my body, but you offer change
i am inclined to take it, despite what the world insists upon
