they scoffed at my prayer and laughed at my form, i twirled in circles around the room
just arrived home from the hospital, fresh scars still bleeding in spite of medicated stupor
simple understanding was not something to which they were inclined
now my house is gone, my apartment, and everything else
all that mattered was money, and all of my time
i lost it all, now completely broken
nothing remains
except what God showed me
i am forgiven, he reigns
