in hopes to enrich the land of the fairy with tales of struggle and plea
my desperate pen is but a whisper and friend to all who have eyes to see
that tower is beautiful with ivory wonders and the accounts of eternity
the life of my light is but a hope in the night to find my love and her plea

in gentle whispers i long for the days of old now discarded by my own mortality
those stories of time that made me laugh and cry with sweet bastian's causality
and that book with auryn how you made my life much more than mere fantasy
when the storm closed in and atreyu was pained for an unending search of that cure
and all along what we needed was hope, love, and mysteries that were obscured
in fantasia's absurdities to that princess with no name, for i wanted to help
and now my youth has escaped me.

come back to me falcor and take me through the clouds of impossibility
i will not forget the time when in my heart did i find that wondrous love
of a hardly nameless fantasy
