I wanna tell you
I appreciate all that you are
and have been to me.
You really are an amazing person
and I’m lucky to have
come across such an amazing soul.
I often think of the times we’ve spent together
and I am overcomed with warmth.
I wanna snuggle underneath your arms feel
the soothing sound of your heart beat.
Wrap my arms around your tender soul
and feel the fire inside.
Your presence makes me feel
cared for and secure.
As if the world came crashing down and
I had you by my side I’d be ok.
To resist those hugs and kisses
seems nearly impossible these days.
And to think just a few short months ago
we barely spoke a few words.
I am truly amazed at how far our relationship
has come.
This connection between us has come so natural
it feels like I've found home.
Which makes me wonder
this love, this connection or vibe
has to be from before our current life.
My soul has found comfort in you
and separation doesn’t seem possible.
You’re the home my soul has been looking for.
For this, I thank you.
Maybe you aren’t a lesson
