If I had one wish,
I don't know what it would be.
If I only had one wish,
To just spend all on me.
Would I wish for money,
As plentiful as the sea?
It would come in solid bars of gold,
For no one else but me.
Or maybe I would wish,
For fame all of my own.
And everywhere in the world,
I would be well- known.
But maybe I would wish,
For love passionate and true,
To help me through this hard life,
With nothing left to rue.
But maybe there's a chance,
I don't need a wish at all.
That my life is just fine now,
With every rise and fall.
