Horrified with lies but destroyed by the truth,
Worrying of what this could be,
This destructive situation is killing me.
Painful thoughts distracting my days,
Waiting until the next time I see your face,
Waiting and waiting, how long will it take?
Maybe I'll wait one more day,
Then you'll be back in your rightful place.
Tomorrow comes, you're still not here,
It feels like I've been waiting for years,
Hoping and praying will keep you near,
Soon you'll come and dry my tears.
Maybe it won't take long,
Maybe it will be forever,
Maybe this is were I belong,
Maybe you're best off wherever...
But whatever, wherever,
Maybe and 'what if',
I'll always be waiting,
