I can't breathe,
Suddenly feel the need to leave,
As black rivers run
Side by side down my face,
Screams and flashes of,
Long forgotten memories
Parade infront of my eyes.
Even in the darkness,
I can see his face.
Terror runs through me,
As I fear it will happen again,
My head pounds from the yelling,
Taking one last drag,
The shaking begins once more.
Beauty is stripped from my eyes
And all I can see is red,
I wish for comfort,
Though I've never had any.
This secret held,
I can never tell.
