You like him,
He likes you,
Your best friends,
Always and forever.
I don’t think saying I do,
Would be very hard for the two of you.
Or at least . . . you
When all he seems to do is lie
How do you cope?
You could have so much better
You could have the world.
I know he’s what makes you happy
It’s the only reason anyone can understand
Why you keep going back
But still . . .
I don’t understand why you aren’t together.
