And to say goodbye this final time makes me want to cry,

Because although I've hated you - I've also loved you with all my heart, too;

You were not my first and you'll not be the last,

But I can't help feeling our time went too fast,

And to know I'm not the one in your bed tonight,

And to know that you're not gonna hug me and it'll be alright,

Hurts and I'm sure that Heaven's getting further away,

He's taken you from me and stood in the way,

And now you're gone,

But I wish you all the luck,

That I never had because you're worth every last drop,

Of sweet salty drops that fall from these eyes,

Just remember I tore down that disguise,

You can't hide,

Yourself from me,

I saw in you what I wanted to see,

What I didn't want to see,

And I still loved you more,

Than I'd loved anyone that I've ever loved before.

You'll never let go,

You don't know,

But I'm here and I'm always going to be,
