Dearly beloved and the hearts that ache,

the loss and grief at a final wake.

Acidic tears and stinging eyes,

the resurrection and heavens rise.

Ascent to the clouds, too good for here,

despite your pain, I’m flying near.

Floating through on angel wings,

as the harpers harp, the angel sings.

We lay to rest the pain of life,

to lay to rest a loving wife.

The loss burns as we have to part,

to join in death holder of your heart.

You may be gone but when skies clear,

I know you’re watching, wating near.

She would only want your face to smile.

Not your tears the river nile.

So wipe away the tears you shed,

we lay to rest the peaceful dead.
