Even though you love me
All of my devotion
And all of my time
I have spent it on me
Trying to solve this rhyme
You always look to me
For your guidence and help, but
I am the younger one
How am I supposed to know?
This knowledge that you seek
Can only come with age
I have been watching as much as you have
And I do not know a single thing
I want you to trust me
To know that I will be there
But, why must you curse at me?
Whenever I try to share
I only want for you to be better
For you to have a clearer mind
And why can't you just trust me?
This healing will take time
I will make it better
I will tend to your wounds
Just please trust me
When I say I am never through
I carry many secrets
Only a few of them mine
I always try to be a good person
By being honest, trust worthy, deep, and kind
So just trust me
It will all be fine eventually
Everything takes time
