Contractual love
We put our faith into myth
Sign our name on the line
Without reading the passages
And an unconditional love?
Is such a thing possible?
As if there was a formula
To ensure joy was plausible
But is it even worth the argument
Maybe I should just let all be
I guess maybe the frustration
Has gotten the best of me
But as you stand on your book
To help to see the light
Why don’t you find someone taller
And just gaze into their mind
