I close my eyes as the light fades away
The tables turn, I'm death's new prey
Feeding off fear, he's growing strong
Reflecting as I realize I was always wrong
You are the meaning of reality
I've been struck down and confused

I think tonight I will seal my fate
To be reborn to rid of your hate
As I look down and see the fall
I realize that it's not what I wanted at all
Just see me, notice that I'm still here
Being alone is everything I fear
At your touch, the coldness sleeps
Death approaches, the angels weep
So here we go, the end draws near
Like turned up soil, the water's unclear
Like a puzzle the pieces just fall in place
The picture is clear, the image of your face
All I ever wanted, ever needed to be
And so it turns out, the image is me
