I saw you everyday, though too afraid to confront you

I sat back and watched you quietly

You smiled, laughed, were loved by all around you

So I knew I had to make you mine

I tried talking to you, but you never seemed to hear

Just turned the other way

I tried calling your house, nobody was ever home

You must've screened your calls

Your friends all said the same thing, you're out of my league

Then I knew I had to do something

I sang my heart to you, everybody laughed, I thought it worked

You said I was pathetic, a waste of life

I had to do it, I had to take you, make you be mine

So I made a plan, we were meant to be

I didn't want to bruise your face, but you put up a fight

I couldn't take the screaming

Your body fell limp, I knew I had to run, had to run away

But I took you with me

Now you're mine forever, you will never leave my side

I knew on that day I was happy

So now I sing my heart out once more, from that day you made me cry

I sing of the story of how I had you at goodbye
