Kneeling at His feet
Knowing i will do anything
Just to please Him.
All He asks for
Is for me to smile
And i do watching one
Light up His face as well.
Every inch of my body
Craves His touch,
His kiss.
But i do not move
For i know it will
Displease Him.
Kneeling at His feet
Knowing i will do anything
Just to please Him.
Again reading this with the strategy I have just described in a previous comment, this reflects far more, and poorly, upon the speaker's lover, rather than upon the speaker herself. And this is what makes the poem successful.
