I've been on the dark side,
Alone and scared.
I was nasty, always lied.
Cut myself to bits,
My arms are scarred.

Drink to forget,
Then you regret,
The fear you put people through.
I want to say sorry,
To all of you.
I'm coming into the light, my future looks bright.

For years i didn't believe.
They said he had died.
My dad couldn't have died,
He was strong.
My head told me they were wrong,
He would be home.
It wouldn't be long.

My way was lost for far too long.
I shouted, I screamed,
I hated everyone,
