Five years today you went away,
Didn't run away, but flew away,
To heaven, where the angels are.
Broke my heart,
Left a scar.
The scar wont heel,
But at least now,
It all feels real.

I love you dad,
Why did you have to leave.
For years I didn't believe,
But now I'm relieved,
You're free from this crazy world.

Another year will pass,
Just as fast.
