When I look in the mirror
Will I see my own reflection
Will I see who I was yesterday
And when I try to smile
Will it express just how I’m feelin’
Or will it hide my disarray

Trying so long
To be strong
When I am not sure who I am
Trapped inside
My own mind
Feeling locked inside of a cage
Looking for a way to escape

When I look in the mirror
Will there still be some tears from crying
Or will they be dry from last night
And when I look at my eyes
Will I see the hope still dying
Will I see the emptiness is gone

Trying so long
To be strong
When I am not sure who I am
Trapped inside
My own mind
Feeling locked inside of a cage
Looking for a way to escape

I can’t look away
I’ve tried so long to try to hide this
It hurts too much to fight this
Is there away to overcome this
