In days of old
When knights were bold
They roamed the wide expanses
They fought with swords
And charged the hoards
With long and pointed lances
They had no fear
But wore head gear
To hide their awful glances
Throughout their life
They dealt with strife
Which their legend, now enhances
They’d fight the fight
To set things right
And settle any griev-ances
They stood on guard
And fought real hard
In many circumstances
They roamed the land
With shield in hand
And to maidens, made advances
But their armoured plate
Sealed their fate
Thus preventing any chances
So then of course
Just rode their horse
And thus, had no romances
