The monkey tribes

Once upon a time there were two monkey tribes, one names Au-uh-ah-ah and the other named Cu-chu-chu and they hated each other. They used to steal bananas from each other and fight all day. One day the majestic monkey wizard called Rukuku told the tribes that if they did not begin to get along there would be serious consequences. But the tribes did not listen Rukuku and kept fighting for bananas.

Rukuku got very mad and warned them again, he said it was their last chance for them to change their behavior. The monkeys did not believe the greatness of Rukukus power and they only cared for their bananas, so they kept fighting. Rukuku said, “this is enough, you need to learn your lesson”. So he began to change the way planet earth worked.

Then Rukuku explained to them his plans “Every time someone steals someone else’s bananas big quantities of water will fall from the sky, all your fruits and homes will be destroyed if the water falls for a long time, so you must return what it doesn’t belong to you in order for the water to stop.”

After Rukuku explained this everybody stopped stealing bananas but they began fighting with each other, so Rukuku had to create another plan. So he explained; “Every time a monkey hits another monkey the earth will shake roughly, all your fruits and homes will be destroyed if the earth shakes for a long time, so you must respect each other in order for the shake to stop.”

The monkeys stopped stealing and fighting but remained mad with each other, even though there was no more physical violence there was still lot of hatred within each other.

Rukuku had a new plan. “The earth will be dark and will remain dark until you begin to get along each other, until you forgive each other your crops will die without any light and your baby’s will be cold.”

            Every time the monkeys did not listen, all of these things happened, so their crops and homes were dying and both tribes were very uncomfortable. Time past and they began o learn to be fair and get along with each other, until that happened, the monkeys life began to get better for both tribes.

Even though there has been less violence and better friendships Rukuku could not make this go along forever so as a reminder for all creatures to keep this values he kept this changes to planet earth. So every once in a while he sends a bit of rain, he creates earthquakes, and every 24 hours he makes the world dark for a while.
