All too soon my little baby boy will be here,

He loves to kick and squirm with cheer, 

I'm so excited to see his little fingers and toes,

He seems so smart and his baby bump really shows. 

Grampa and Gramma are so excited to see my little man, 

His Daddy and Mommy are awaiting his arrival, 

But for now hes home in my tummy where he belongs,

He can have all the food and warmth he needs to be strong.

I can't wait to sniff him and dress him in blue,

I am so excited to wash him in soapy water and comb his hair, 

I will love to talk and sing to my baby and tickle him too,

But most of all I want everything for my baby to be absolutely fair.

For now I must wait and give him all he needs to roam around,

He'll lose his space and become a big boy ready for the world,

When hes bigger he'll crawl all around and just be astounding,

And that's when I'll learn the perks of being a mother to my precious baby.
