So much to say but not sure where to begin.
Overwhelmed with emotions exploding from within.
I and my siblings could have been someone else's children but GOD made us yours!
I am grateful that you instinctively showed us how to navigate life although barely 18 you yourself were just learning how to open doors.
We thank you for sacrificing your youth to ensure we were always protected.
You courageously played dual roles of mother and father despite the circumstances that allowed my father to neglect it.
Love is an action so words offer little to no consolation if reality is contradictory.
That is why I am grateful to have witnessed your consistent true care for your chidren; and applaud your victory.
What and who we are as adults are products of our personal decisions.
As a man I thank you for showing me the template of life and unconditionally supporting my countless revisions.
The way you raised all of your children makes me so proud to call you my mother.
Things could have been different but thank GOD destiny insisted no other!
In the spirit of giving you your roses today, it is my pleasure to take time to write you an occasional Mother's Day poem.
I know it fails in comparrison to the lifetime of sincere nurturing you have always shown.
I love you indefitely and I know for a fact that you feel the same.
I am not ashamed to be referred to as a moma's boy because I would not respond to any other name!
Love Bryant Mosley
