Bail-Out Taxes
"Tax" is such a lovely noun
On the tree of Knowledge grown
In Eden's garden,- Paradise
And guarded by a snake most wise.
Tax the cabbage, tax the kraut,
The bums have need of a bail- out
Tax the veggis and the meat,
Tax the carrot and the beet
Tax the cereals and the flour,
Tax the roses in the bower,
Tax the young and those with gout
Some rascals need a quick Bail-Out.
Tax the barley, wheat and wort,
Throw your savings overboard,
To be with glee and joy spread round
On the blessed bail-out mount.
Tax the dough and tax the yeast,
Bids some latter day fascist,
Tax the mother, tax the daughter,
Electricity and Water.
Tax for coffee, tax for tea.
Tax for flowers on the lea,
Tax for all that thrives and grows
The mortgage of a mansion house.
They want it but don't have much clout,
And thus they need to be bailed out
On the Bail-Out hill or mount,
Where the scoundrels dance a round.
Bail them out for restroom three
In a house of luxury,
Bail them out for manicure
Blessed those that help the poor !
Give the bums a hearty check
With dough for which you broke your neck.
Re-distribute what you earn,
Whoopie! - folks you have to learn.
Tax them for the milk and cheese,
Tax them for the air they breathe,
Tax them, tax them real hard,
Till they can no longer fart.
Tax folks till they'r turning blue,
Tax the chops and sausage stew,
Tax for fish, shrimp, eel or trout
Tax in trillions - bail cheats out !
Tax for Oats for rye and wheat,
Turbo tax friends love to cheat
Fannie Mae and Freddie Max
Encourage cheats and turbo tax.
Heedless of calamity,
Shield Lord our posterity !
