Use very rarely the Word "GOD"!

Use very rarely the word "God"!

The ineffable reality,

Some people speak this word slip-shod,

So careless and routinely.

When pious people speak of  God,

An idol t ?is they have in mind,

That fits their ego's favored spot,-

A grandpa, very old and kind.

Pray use the word "God" cautiously!

And preferably on your knees,

Unfathomable mystery,

Can not spoken of with ease.

But light a lamp, and keep it lit,

And dwell in awesome emptiness,-

Before the One beyond your wit,

Ineffably mysterious.

Too great a familiarity

Voiced by some pious folk devout

Slights His inscrutability,-

Turns Him an Idol for the crowd.

The closest and the most remote,

All-Other,  and yet intimate,

Superabundance and a naught,

That wants to share and correlate.

Familiar and all unknown,

A Hidden Lord He is,

Sustaining night, and nurturing  dawn,

Embracing zenith and abyss

An ocean infinite and still,

Yet Source of  all vitality,

Totality that yet can fill

The All with creativity.

So  far off and so close at hand,

Much closer than I am to me,

Is immanent and transcendent

Ineffable a mystery.

Thus light a candle, - tend it's flame

Or contemplate the naught,

When daring to pronounce the name

And utter the word "God".

Honestly you stupid Christians are the problem of the world. I say God's name in vain whenever the fuck I want to, maybe God should do something if he wants some respect
