Dread Ultimate

They poured a water bucket out upon her head,

For in her dread and horror she lost consciousness,

So agonizing was her terror, fear and dread,

Before the butcher knife of hatred bottomless.

But hatred’s vipers did deny oblivion,

And brought her senses back with water icy cold,

Roused up the one who had passed out to wake and groan,

To taste her dread and fear increased a hundred fold.

To make her cry before the thugs of infamy,

Beg for her life, and plead and  weeping supplicate,

A spectacle so grim for all the world to see

Sweet mercy’s angel  in the hands of  boundless  hate.

“Save me!”-“Save me!“ -she cries,- “please save me, spare my life!”

She begs on tape that  Al Jezeera finds too grim,

To air her fear before the henchmen’s butcher knife,

But let her drink the cup of horror to the brim.

Most folks are disinclined to long expatiate,

On suffering  inflicted by barbaric foes,

The dread of mercy’s angel, - tortured  Margaret,

The Lord experienced it fully and He knows.

Lord! let the fiendish hands be numbed and paralyzed,

The hands of murder thugs , their henchman and valet,

Remembering the agony of  Jesus Christ

That  does experience your servant  Margaret.

Earth sucked up  droplets sweet of bloody sweat,

When Christ, the Savior in the garden agonized,

And tasted dread of death as now does  Margaret

Compassion’s Minister, who so resembles  Christ.
