Faith
Rooted
Profoundly
In God’s action
In man’s history
Refuses to worship
At the altar of the PAST,
But is in fact the contrary,
Genuine faith is independent
Of this or that historic event,-
True faith is constantly looking
To what the Lord IS doing,
And how God is acting
On this PRESENT day;
This alone proves
Authentic
And true
Faith
