Ring Seven Bells
Ring seven bells loud and clear!-
For the seven bright stars pioneer-
Light seven candles, burn bright flames
Etch, carve, engrain, seven glorious names.
Pray people all and hold in awe,
Seven beaming falling stars we saw,
Bow nation down in reverence,
To dauntless heroes gone from hence
Probing for us the great unknown-
Seven of the brightest stars went down,-
Ring bells, ring out for the seven
Astronauts that left and went to heaven
Sing angels, sing, rejoice! sing!, sing!
Ring bells celestial out, chime and ring!
Sound the everlasting souvenir,
Of ambassadors and stars pioneer.
Mission was accomplished, done the quest,
In the ever-loving arms they rest;
Earth would not keep these brave and bold
Who forever now God’s face behold.
