And Yet Again



There is something very wrong

With that frivolous little song:

“Never Again, Never Again!”

While genocidal terrors rein.



First the Jews, the Holocaust

Then Rwanda’s human cost

Srebrenica, Bosnia,

And Yet Again in  Chechnya.



Never Again, - or is it Encore?

What agonies in East Timor!

“Never Again“, they chant although

There’s Ethnic Cleansing in Kosovo.



Callous, crusty, foul it is

To ignore Tibetan agonies;

Your brother’s slaughter to withstand

Is the Lord God’s express command.



Fops keep chanting “Never Again!”

While genocidal bullets rain.

Bestiality reigns supreme,

Atrocities and misdeeds teem.



Mass graves fill at steady pace

Pay tribute to the “civilized” race.

Down River Styx goes memory lane

Its waters gurgle “Never Again!”.
