Hail to the brave, that battle to withstand
Approaching death - Death by Diplomacy
And try to curb the latest quirky trend
That pressures and demands diversity.
Lead journalistic voices lately shrilled
“Its gonna kill us all” - their papers say
“Diplomacy is gonna get us killed!”
Since Foggy Bottom lawyers had their way.
To statues of our heroes they object,-
Remove the Founding Fathers from the dais,
They are,- they feel- politically incorrect;
A mustached mandarin would look so nice!
Mix brown and white and black and colors more
And re-arrange and re-write history-
Put up a Kublai Khan on Mount Rushmore
First things come first,- and it’s diversity.
Consider thus this issue and reflect,-
Should you decide to hug diversity,
And wish to be politically correct
Then meet and hail- Death by Diplomacy.
