Friends!
Shake your Winter-Blues, come on and share
The merry-making of a Polar Bear
On the world famous Coney Island Beach,
Where Polar Bears do get a hot dog each
As a reward for taking to the sea
To greet New Years,- the first of January,
And any Sunday during winter tide
And after swimming dry their dripping hide..
Surrounded by their fans’ admiring throng
Who love to watch, but never come along;
TV reporters only brace their gear
To catch the “Ring-Around-The-Rosie’s” cheer.
Come on, dear friend and join this merry fold!
After a swim, you’ll feel no longer cold-
And what you wear,- the Polar Bears don’t care
Just sing: ”Hurray! - “I am a Polar Bear”!
