Drip

It's flowing

Glittering

the ground

the floor

My shirt

My pants

Sprinkles

They look like sprinkles

Decorating me

With cuts of hurt

Covering me

Swallowing me into the darkness

where i lay cold

my soul leaking

Escaping

Slipping away

Leaving behind a trail

Glistening like cherries

I watch it

As I lay there breathing

Trying to breathe

I'm suffocating

It's still in me

My soul

Coating my voice

My breath

I can't let go

Don't go

Can't move

Frozen

Helpless

I lay there motionless

As i watch it

Drain itself from me

Emptiness invades

Numb emotion

This is my dark escape
