The night moves in without a moments notice it all turns black,

My heart sinking into my chest, feeling like it's going to crack!

Thoughts of us helping me to smile,

Giving me strength to carry on that extra mile!

Your warm embrace and loving kiss is what I yearn,

Making my heart heavy and ready to burn!

Your smile growing as I come near,

You hear me whisper, I love you dear!

A hard days work has finally gone by,

As I see you walk towards me, a tear of joy swells in my eye!

You ask why am I crying, what makes me sad,

I whisper softly in your ear nothing my love I'm just glad!

Happy to be home and warm in your loving arms,

Wishing I could always feel these charms!

You smile at me and I see heaven so clear,

I know this moment would always be near!

I need you so much, I miss you so true,

This is the only way I'll never feel blue!
