Thoughts of us together running through my head,
Remembering your laugh at the funny things I said!
Those late night calls and romantic talks,
My desire growing stronger for the memory making walks!
Gazing at each other with those twinkles in our eyes,
Love and emotion coming out with each sigh!
Whispers of "I love you" floating to each other every night,
Holding each other so very tight!
Sun beams in it's morning rays and shine,
I come in the room with our breakfast for us to dine!
You kiss my lips, your scent lingers in the air,
Not a worry in life, not even a care!
The phone is gone, and my time with you has been paused,
My stupid lack of responsibility has caused!
I regret and hate to think,
That last night with you was the killer, and makes my heart sink!
Silent whispers in your ear so true,
My precious Carrie, I pray that God answers my prayers for you!
