Sitting here wondering what's going on,
Waking up each morning to a brand new dawn!
Trying to carry that extra big smile,
Walking along that extra long mile!
Kiding my feelings and not letting anyone see,
My hurt and pain giving me so much agony!
I try to keep giving to the ones I love,
Asking the Creator for strength from above!
Drifting off, on a hot summers day,
Falling from the trail and loosing my way!
Wondering where to go and what to do,
Wondering why I can't be there with you!
Why does it get so hard to be apart,
A little each day tearing up your heart!
I lay awake thinking of holding you so tight,
Never letting you go cause it feels so right!
Wishing that soon our hearts can be free,
Asking the Creator that soon you will be with me!
