When hopes run high, what do you do,
I sit and wait for my thoughts of you!
Calling out your name, hoping you will hear,
My soul crying out for you to be near!
It’s been a while since the first day we met,
I cherish each moment in my mind, just like a beautiful sunset!
I hear your name throughout the night,
Wishing I could, just once, hold you tight!
Making love to you would be a wonderful treat,
That would leave me at the ground worshipping you at your feet!
My body urging for that day to finally come,
Hanging on to a dream and feeling kind of dumb!
But yet, I know you love me, I can feel it in every way,
I see it in you, through the words that you say!
Luscious lips and an astonishing mind,
A heart so pure, so very hard to find!
Beauty, intelligence and a loving embrace,
This, I receive from you, with your grace!
