When you fall in love:
Does it really come from up above?
Can it come straight from the heart?
And why is it hard to be apart?
When can you tell that it is strong?
How does the other know when it’s wrong?
When it is there, how do you feel?
When it hurts, do you kneel?
And pray to the Creator up high,
And ask him to take your life where you lie!
When you fall in love:
You feel free like a dove!
Sometimes it can really hurt you so,
Believe me, this much I know.
I’ve had so much pain and misery,
I even had a bad history.
So, take my word, if you wish,
Life can sometimes be a rotten dish!
When you have so much pain,
And it does not know when to stop the rain,
When your life will finally cease,
That is when you’ll finally find peace!
