Embraced by warm tendrils
Penetrating deep down warm hair caresses my neck
Flush tingling into every pore in persistance
Speaking to my forgotten skin
Nights were long
Days longer
In the freeze of winter
No sunlight reached me here
Isolated and bewildered I searched for a sensation
Long forgotten
As I stood on the rugged cliffs
With waves pounding the shore
Rain splattered my face
Angrily whipping my tousled strands
Proving its power over land and sea and soul
Today the sunbeams poured down
And the flowers nodded in the languid breeze
The ocean is still
And my quest for that forgotten feel
Is abandoned
In the glory of the breaking day
