In the mirror
You hate what you see
You’ve turned into the things that you never wanted to be
Hopes fade away
Dreams have passed you by
Now all you can do is look in the mirror and wish you could die
Thoughts try to hurt you
Ideas drag you down
You don’t want to look but you can’t turn around
The click of the hammer
Like the beat of a drum
You start to feel your body go numb
Cold steel pressing against your temple
You know you’ll be judged
But the thoughts in your head just won’t budge
You squeeze the trigger
The options are ever clearer
You can’t stand to be the face in the mirror
hey adam,
I love this poem, its awsome!
