the shadows leisurely recede,
stars fade from sight,
Moon descending,
Sudden hush, the music stops,
creatures of night retire,
light adventures rise,
music begins once more, in another tune,
Streaks of pearlescent white,
shimmering rose, glittering orange,
in rivers of blinding beauty,
spread across God’s canvas,
Intricate work of art,
watercolor masterpiece,
on display with each new day,
